Boats meet at Wells-next-the-Sea. Pre booking of pontoons is required (01328 711646), be sure to mention that you are part of the PSSA rally when booking. Please don’t book too early, I haven’t told the HM yet. Takeaway meal aboard followed by drinks in the Golden Fleece. Earliest arrival at Wells ECM 1820. First time visitors should visit Wells Harbour Website for pilotage guidance, or follow a local boat. Wells is excellent for provisioning, diesel is best bought in cans from the petrol station.

Blakeney

Day-sail to Blakeney, departing 0930, route to be decided. Earliest crossing of Blakeney Bar at 1900hrs with a view to picking up a buoy or anchoring opposite the old Lifeboat Station. First time visitors should visit the Blakeney Harbour Association Website for pilotage guidance. Using a local boat as pilot on first entry is very strongly recommended. The harbour dries fully onto mainly flat sand. There is drinking water and rudimentary toilets ashore, accessible by dinghy at HW ±2hrs. Eat aboard or use dinghies to picnic ashore, note that fires and barbeques are not permitted. If you are arriving on Friday please be sure to arrange pilotage into Blakeney with a local boat by contacting the organiser.

Day-sail to Burnham-Overy-Staithe, departing 0930, route to be decided. Earliest crossing of Overy-Staithe bar 2000 hrs, if you haven't been in before, follow a local boat! Anchor in the outer harbour, the harbour dries fully onto mainly flat sand with some weed; holding is generally good but care is required as carelessly set anchors can drag. We will dinghy to the beach for a picnic meal. There are no facilities at Burnham-Overy-Staithe.

Tide-sail to Brancaster Staithe, departing 0930, pick us a buoy or anchor as directed by rally organisers. Dinghy ashore for Sunday Lunch in the BSCC Clubhouse. The harbour will dry over lunch time so we will need to walk back to the boats, wellies or water shoes required. There will be enough water to tender back to the boats by about 1930hrs so a leisurely afternoon on the club terrace, or a walk along the coastal path may avoid the need to walk. I will need to pre-book numbers for the lunch at the clubhouse so please let me know if you are planning to attend.
