Placing an advert

If you'd like to place an advert, please email the webmaster. If you're selling a boat, please include the class, boat name and sail number, a general description and an equipment list, any good photos and - of course - the price! The advert will have it's own page and URL, will stay on as long as you want it, and may be updated whenever necessary.

"Boats for Sale" adverts are free for current PSSA members of at least two years' standing, and also for ex-members who have held membership for at least two years, including the year prior to the sale of the boat.  "Other Items" and "Wanted" ads are free for members.

17 Jun: Tohatsu 4 stroke 6HP outboard (model MFS 6C)

This engine was purchased new in the Summer of 2019, (they have a seven-year warranty) run in according to the manual, used once on an outing on the river Crouch in the autumn of 2019 and then wintered ashore.
In total the engine has run for five hours (the running in and that first trip up and down the crouch) but since the COVID lockdowns of 20 and 21 and a family bereavement I have not been able to get my boat back onto the water, I have since sold the boat but the buyer had their own existing outboard so they were not interested in this outstanding example. I recently started her up and ran her in freshwater with fresh petrol for 15 mins and she started easily and ran perfectly.

15 May: Parker 275 Sail stacker for sale

Sail stacker to suit Parker 275, complete with battens. Attaches to boom with a bolt rope so is suitable for a loose-footed main. We moved to a loose-footed main as this arrangement is so much easier to fit than having a sleeve in the stack pack over which a mainsail bolt rope is threaded. 

Colour is light grey. Made by Kemp. In good condition except for:
a) Faded Kemp logo
b) One fastening clip is connected to webbing with a safety pin. Can be re-sewn if you have a sail sewing thimble

The stacker is for sale as we have replaced it. This is not due to wear and tear but instead is triggered by getting a new mainsail made with thicker cloth than before. Our original stacker is too small to fit. Prospective purchasers are welcome to try this stacker to ensure a perfect fit for your rig.   Located in the Solent area.

Heavy duty laminate cruising main sail - £150

This is a grossly over engineered multipanel laminate main.  Sets very well and has many years of good life left.

Outboard well fairing

I bought this from Bruce Parker. It has never been used because it didn't fit Shivra (P21) He suggested enlarging the hole. I never did. Overall length 37 cm, width at widest point 25.3 cm. The lip is 1. 5 to 1.7 cm. I would like £30 for it plus postage.

Trailer For Sale £1600

Trailer for Parker 235. Manufactured by RM Trailers and supplied new with the boat by Parkers in 2006. It has been very lightly used and is always stored under cover and jacked up off the ground. It will be supplied complete with docking arms, lighting board, boat securing strap, security wheel lock and extending wing mirrors for towing vehicle - £1600 the lot.
