Juicy Blue - Parker 235 no 35
£18,500

I am offering this 2005 Parker 235 yacht at an attractive price of £18500.00.I am looking for a quick sale as I have found a boat on which I have already made an offer so I am selling this excellent boat at a bargain price. This boat stands out from the rest mainly because it's owners have been meticulous with their maintenance which can be seen in the photos.

It was epoxied from new then, in 2014, the antifouling was stripped back to the epoxy. The existing epoxy was topped up with two coats of Gelshield 200 and then re-antifouled. The keel was also removed, checked and re-antifouled and all the running gear, lifting eyes, pulley system and lifting line replaced. Photographic evidence for the above can be supplied.

Most of the standing and running rigging has been replaced in my ownership.

There will be a choice of petrol outboard engines from 3.5 hp to 6hp by separate negotiation.

The Parker 235 lift keel is a good family cruiser which would also be very happy in the hands of an experienced crew. If you would enjoy sailing up shallow creeks or on inland waterways, the Parker 235's lifting keel makes sailing a pleasure. The boat is also at home in the middle of the Channel where it demonstrates outstanding performance. With three reefing points on the main, you are enabled to sail in a wide variety of wind strengths.

She is well laid out with comfortable sleeping for up to four people in one double and two single berths. In the galley there is a double burner fuelled by methylated spirits and two sinks with hand pumps for water. In the heads there is a washbasin with a hand pump and a Portaloo for comfort when staying aboard. Good storage can be found in the bilges and side shelves and a table which serves as both dining and chart table.

In addition the boat comes with various fenders and warps, spray dodgers, two anchors with chain and warps and a brand new Portaloo which has never been used. To aid navigation, there is a hand-held compass, wind speed and direction equipment, an echo sounder and Garmin GMI 10 instrumentation.

The boat sits on a custom-built 2010 RM four-wheeled galvanised road trailer which is in excellent condition.

It is ready to sail and I would be more than happy to help with transportation, rigging it up pre-launch and launching at the buyers expense. Viewings and inspections are most welcome at any reasonable time at the boat's winter storage in the Cheltenham area. This is a fastidiously maintained and much-loved boat that will give its new owner many hours of happy sailing.
