Join us to explore by dinghy, the unspoilt upper reaches of the River Hamble beyond the marinas and throng of weekend sailors. This rally is especially suitable for children, nature lovers and those who don’t like rough seas. It is based at Deacon’s Marina which is the last yacht-accessible marina on the Hamble and the perfect place to set off up river.

We have chosen the 3rd August for the rally because there will be a big spring tide midday which will enable us to go all the way up river to Botley and to Curbridge.

Hello Michael,

Can you tell us what time on Saturday you will be heading upstream by dingy?

If no room at Deacons we could go to Swanick.

Thanks Mike & Helen JUNO
