First owner D G Duke of Bicester and kept on Grafham Water. Then Don Harvey who will no doubt have something to say! Not a member of SSA since Don traded up but seen at Berthons, Lymington in 2001. Is it one of the later type with no bridgedeck or sheet winches? I don't think either of those mods did anything for the boat! Glad mine's the earlier type (30)

Had a look and quite liked it...
It has a pair of self tailing winches on the coach roof.

I was told there is the original Genoa a newer jib and a storm jib.

The main is quite old.....how much would a new main cost ?
The engine is a Honda 5 and needs a good service.
The spray hood has seen better days, but it does have a cockpit tent.

My wife prefers a Sun 2000 that we viewed last week. But it's hard to tell her that the Parker would be a better sea boat and good resale value.

Mmmmm decisions !!!!

Since the sun was out today I got the kids to help with polishing the hull.
Revarnished most of the interior wood over the last week.
Taking the sails and sprayhood to a sail maker tomorrow.
Serviced the engine myself during the last week.
All the running rigging has been through the washing machine.
Replaced all the standing rigging and life lines.
All the upholstery has been washed and Kiala has made new curtains.
Added shore power and a few other 12v items including a stereo and speakers.

Looking very smart - can I borrow your kids? Last time I saw her in Lymington she had a pair of splendid vinyl stick-on papillons on the bows.

The kids cost 5 packs of "Match attack" football stickers each (35p a pack)

You cal still see where the Papillon sticker were....will have to get some more.
