Description:

This is a two part rally, both in Lymington and Keyhaven

The first night of Friday 7th June will be at the Dan Bran pontoon in Lymington.

Pontoon party at 6pm on Friday on Dan Bran hosted by Tilikum.

Group bookings can be made locally in the Mayflower pub or Lymington Town Sailing Club for those interested, Please let me know your preferences.

You will need to book directly with the harbour office at Lymington by telephoning the office  at least 2 days before the rally  to pay – 01590 672014. June is very busy in Lymington so it will be necessary to book, ideally well in advance. Lymington is accessible in all states of tide.

On the Saturday we will sail to Keyhaven (4.2NM) and either raft up afloat off the quay or settle on the slipway next to the quay, this is nice and solid and reasonably flat. If you would prefer it or numbers are such that we also need to, you can also anchor in the river or take a buoy. The Keyhaven Yacht club which is right next to the quay have offered us the use of their barbeque and access to the bar, Booking in Keyhaven is a little more relaxed.

If you are only able to attend one of the stops that is not a problem, but we would appreciate it if you enrol so we know how many boats will be attending

Tidal information 8th June

The PSSA is the class association for Parker and Seal lift keel yachts and other types of shallow draft yachts.
As an active, friendly club with almost 350 members, it organises rallies, social events and an annual race around the Isle of Wight.
Seals and Parkers are British-built yachts, ranging in length from 21' to 33', mostly with lifting keels. They started with the Seal 22 in 1970, built by John Baker, and followed by the Seal 28 and Super Seal 26. In 1981, Bill Parker took over the range and added the Parker 21, Parker 27 and Parker 31. These then evolved into a high-quality range of cruiser-racers built by Parker Lift-Keel Yachts - the trailable Parker 235, the Parker 285 and the Parker 335. In 2009, Parker Lift-Keel yachts ceased trading.
