Some hotel suggestions

All are less than 10 minutes’ walk, in order of distance from the CA. Prices are indicative only and vary from one website to another. Please note we haven’t inspected any of these and don’t recommend one or another!

The Royal Foundation of St Katharine https://www.rfsk.org.uk/

Britain’s oldest charitable trust now offers stylish bed and breakfast from £97. NB with apologies: the 10% discount mentioned in the newsletter only applies for CA members.

Holiday Inn Express https://tinyurl.com/57ube7t3

Reliable chain of no-frills hotels. Rooms currently from £136 but they vary day to day.

Limehouse Library Hotel https://limehousehotel.com/

Small boutique hotel in a famous East London library. Very cool rooms from £129 but don’t expect these prices to last.

Premier Inn Canary Wharf https://tinyurl.com/4kjs7w93

A few minutes further but currently the lowest price from £84 excluding breakfast.

The PSSA is the class association for Parker and Seal lift keel yachts and other types of shallow draft yachts.
As an active, friendly club with almost 350 members, it organises rallies, social events and an annual race around the Isle of Wight.
Seals and Parkers are British-built yachts, ranging in length from 21' to 33', mostly with lifting keels. They started with the Seal 22 in 1970, built by John Baker, and followed by the Seal 28 and Super Seal 26. In 1981, Bill Parker took over the range and added the Parker 21, Parker 27 and Parker 31. These then evolved into a high-quality range of cruiser-racers built by Parker Lift-Keel Yachts - the trailable Parker 235, the Parker 285 and the Parker 335. In 2009, Parker Lift-Keel yachts ceased trading.
