Entries to the RIOW race will be accepted up to the day before the race. However, to secure a booking for a berth at Shepherds Wharf (at the discounted rate) members are advised to contact the Sailing Secretary as soon as possible. The same applies for Bembridge.

If there are sufficient entries, a prize-giving meal will be arranged at Bembridge.

Folks, David has contact me to say that the race is postponed. He left Littlehampton this morning at 6am to work his way towards the Solent and encountered a lot of weather. The Coastguard called the Met Office and it seems Saturday weather is likely to be more lively than even the Friday morning forecast for Saturday.

Philip Linsell is calling around entrants to inform them. David is cancelling the pub booking in Cowes for tonight and I have spoken with Bembridge Harbour who will welcome us another time.

David will find a suitable date to run the race.
