I'm glad that another owner has responded to this 'review'.I found the text to be an unfortunate mingling of Graham's view and a poorly written review. My immediate comment on reading this in a specialist magazine was presumably not acceptable to the YM editors and therefore not posted.
Illustrative points that I raised were :
a) the description of the heavy foil keel,so instrumental in the performance of the boat,as 'a centreboard lifted as you would in a dinghy' - some dinghy!
b)the point that the accommodation is tight, when in fact it's the beamy open nature of the saloon that's attractive - yes a 27 foot boat is plainly smaller than a larger boat but this one with it's modern beam and ingenious placing of the lifting keel compares favourably with many contemporary hulls.
c)the lack of a chart table - failed to mention that a handsome table became standard in latter boats.
At any rate Graham deserves our thanks for providing his boat as the guinea pig and some admiration for making full sail up into such confined waters.
