Hi All
The early May Bank Holiday will see a rally to Yarmouth on Saturday the 3rd. On Sunday the 4th we will continue on to the Folly on the Medina at Cowes.

The aim is to have a bit of a posher than normal dinner at the Royal Solent YC Yarmouth and then an entertaining time at the Folly. I have now received the menu for the dinner at the Royal Solent. It is attached to this posting. Dress code will be Jacket & Tie (which means dresses or smart trousers for ladies). I need to know choice of meals preferably 10 days in advance. I hope you can make it as the Royal Solent has a great setting and is very welcoming.

High tide is 1505 on Saturday and 1550 on Sunday (Portsmouth).

Please can you let me know if you are coming at least a week in advance preferably earlier. We need to let the YC and the Harbour master know who is coming.

Hope you can make it.

Thanks

Tim

Tim,

Hopefully you got our intention to come. For a surprise reason, can you give me a rough idea how many people will be coming, please?

Hi Mike

This has prompted me into action!

All is going well :-

We have 13 boats and 27 people at Yarmouth with 21 coming to the meal at the Royal Solent.

For the Folly we have 11 boats and 23 people.

We are booked in for 7 for 7 30 at the Royal Solent (still confirming exact timing).

For the Folly we have a table booked from 6pm to 8pm.

We will have a walk ashore rally pontoon at Yarmouth probably near the slip - all boats are booked in.

We have a reserved pontoon mid river at the Folly (instructions from berthing master - On the day please advise all skippers to Call 'Folly Launch' on VHF Ch 72 as they pass River Medina port hand marker number 10 to announce their arrival and to be given berthing instructions)

Looking forward to it

Thanks

Tim
