Hello everyone.

My name is Chris and I have just today bought my first sail boat a seal 22, sail number 261. It has a terrible name (well I think it is) 'Emmachizzit' and I wondered if anyone Knows the boat and remembers any previous names or if it was the original.

She has a cream coloured cabin top and looks fairly original. She needs a bit of TLC but nothing to drastic. The worst being no tiller but rudder is ok and one spreader is broken.

She was originally called "Seagull" by her first owner Dr Pilkington of Swaffham, then P milliken of Norwich, then in 1981 to G Cox of Bromley, then in 1982 to P Carter of Truro, then N Ferris of Truro who changed the name to "Havoc" and finally on our records to P Child of Truro who called her Emmachizzit.

Wow. Thanks Geoff, more detail than I had hope for. I have a huge list of possible names but having seen this I am quite liking Seagull. I'll think on it for a day or two.
