Hi All
Preparations for the AGM are going well. This is to let you know near final details and outline what I need from you to let it all run smoothly.
We have a good turn out which is great news. It is presenting a challenge as there is a limit of 60 places available at the Royal Southampton YC. So if you haven’t already registered or let me know, it will be a matter of fist come first serve for the remaining few places. I have listed the boats already registered so if your booking has gone missing let me know asap.

Abacus*, Alchemist, Ambition, Ariana*, Baldur*, Betty Blue*, Dawn, Delphine, Harnser 3, Heart of G, Kerenza*, Lucky Devil*, Penlu*, Rascal, Redshank*, Ruby Star*, Sea Lady*, Shemar*, Shiraz, Sophia*, Speedwell*, Sunflower, Tara*, Tiptoe 2, Vol au vent, Wayfarer Boston, Zephyr
(* = having Saturday evening meal)

Arrangements for the AGM on Sunday 7th Feb at RYSC
Car parking. There is a pay and display car park at the club. Please turn to the right when entering the club / marina – parking to the left is for berth holders only.
Lunch
Lunch will be a finger buffet costing £12.5 per head. Please let me know of any dietary needs if you haven’t already. Gluten free options will be available.

Arrangements for the Saturday 6th
Walk
There is a walk arranged around Southampton City centre starting at 1030 going on to about 1200. We have an experienced guide and it should be very interesting. We need a few more willing walkers to get a good sized group so let me know if you want to join in. It will cost £50 altogether – so the more we have the less per head.
Shopping Competition
As we are in the middle of lots of shops there will no doubt be a lot of shopping being carried out if my crew has anything to do with it! I will present a prize to the most sustainable purchase (it may depend on who buys me a drink)
Evening meal
We will be eating together at about 1930 for 2000 at the Duke of Wellington.
The 2 course meal will be £14.95 with a choice of:

Faggots, mash peas and gravy
Home cooked Cod, chips and peas
Brie and beetroot tart, salad and chips
Roast Chicken with vegetables
Smoked salmon salad and new pots
Vegetable curry with rice

Sticky toffee pudding and fresh cream
Jam sponge and custard
Fresh fruit salad
Mixed ice cream

Please can those who are coming let me know your choices well before the Saturday (I have put asterix next to those boats attending in above list)

Arrangements for the Friday 5th
We have 1 place left for the VTS tour. So let me know if you want it.
The tour will take place from 1000 to 1230 so you need to arrive in time to get through the security gate. Our contact is Graham Bishop, Harbour Control Manager, Associated British Ports Southampton. The address is
Vessel Traffic Services Centre, 37 Berth, Eastern Docks, Southampton. SO143GG Tel: 02380608206 www.abports.co.uk

I already have the names but need your car registrations as soon as poss if you have opted for the tour

Looking forward to seeing you and don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have any queries

Thanks
