I hope you're going round Wales as well! If so I look forward to seeing you in Fishguard.

Hi Paul
Sounds like you will be very busy in that time.
For the Welsh legs of you voyage Geoff has suggested Fishguard, from there it is a comfortable days sail to Milford where you can get marina facilities or a very sheltered anchorage (free !!) love to see you there. A few years ago we met Pat and Pam Morgan (31/Phun) in a haven on Skomer, they were circumnavigating but at a far more pedestrian rate.

Best of luck

Hi Jan,

I think it was phun that richard (watson) and I met last summer in amsterdam when we were sailing Magus (Richards 325) back from Germany - they had just arrived having done a crossing from uk east coast and were going on into Holland whilst we were heading homewards-milford area is one of our must do's - not sure where we will go from milford but fancy going to padstow before round corner and then will feel almost as thought we are home (south coast) - fingers crossed all goes to plan and if we can work out how to do it Sarah's blog will link to our position on AIS

Hi Paul
Padstow is a very common destination from Milford, almost due south so wind usually somewhere on the beam, nice dolphin escort as well.
Avoid Rick Stein's fish and chips , very disappointing, otherwise Padstow interesting, good eating places but as a yacht you will find you are part of the tourist's entertainment , you sit on your boat in the harbour whilst all the visitors take up the benches and watch you.
Let us know when you expect to get to Milford.
