Sunday 5th FebSuggested activities for Saturday afternoonWalk or Cycle the Cardiff Bay Trail, and boat tripWalk across the Barrage, taking in the Age of Coal and Captain Scott exhibitions, then either hop on a boat trip up the Taf and back to Mermaid Quay, or continue on round the trail for the full 10km. Or just take a boat trip from Mermaid Quay.
Visit the Pierhead, Senedd and Norwegian ChurchAll within a short walk of each other, the
Pierhead is a historic building with Welsh history exhibitions, the Senedd is a striking modern building, and the
Norwegian Church an arts centre with a Roald Dahl exhibition. Free.
Cardiff International White Water Go across to the other side of the bay and try White Water Rafting or Indoor Surfing. Prices from £25, better in a group.

Note: the Yacht Club is not within walking distance of the hotels as it's the other side of the bay. So if you're coming by train, please let me know so that I can arrange a lift to/from the club.
ParkingThere's free parking at most of the hotels, and short term parking on many of the roads. The most convenient long term parking is the Pierhead St multi-storey, behind the Millennium Centre: £4/day at weekends, more on weekdays.
There's free parking at the Yacht Club.
