I hereby instruct Captains & fellow Officers of The Parker Seal Squadron to a rendezvous on the beach at Newtown-Creek for a glass of Madeira and a piece of Madeira cake. You will be required to attend at 18.00 Hrs on Saturday 17th of June.To follow with a DIY BBQ on the beach you are required to notify Captain Stephen Roy of your ship's Name,Captain's Name and the number of Officers attending this function. Communication by semaphore, email or phone on 02392 427906, mobile Stephen 07939 063406 ,First Officer Julie 07968 718456.

A point to be noted is the jetty is in a dangerous condition. We last visited on on the 29th May this year and the Harbour Master was aware and it had been noted that a repair was in hand and may or may not be completed in time. The problem is half way along on the left hand side from the water end one of the supporting piles has given way and allows the pathway to drop as you walk over it, we used the jetty by walking on the right hand side. From the beach end of the jetty there is a sign saying "DANGER do not use" .The alternative is to run the tenders up the beach. I will be in communication with the Harbour Master nearer the time and give you an update on the state of the jetty repair.

High Water Portsmouth 18.01.

Captain Stephen Roy & First Officer Julie Roy.
