Hello. My P275 is fitted with an HMI stern gland. It has started loosing oil out to sea, (about 100ml every 4 hrs of motoring). Is there a short term fix for this as I would prefer to deal with this at the end of the season? In the longer term the gland needs replacing but as far as I can see the product is no longer available. Does anyone know what the options are? I would prefer to replace it with a similar design as the seals rotate against a separate s/s sleeve and there is no risk of wear to the propshaft itself. Any info on this would be very gratefully received. Thanks.
