For some time now I have been tryting out a number of Forums to try and find one to replace the current one to give you a few more facilities.

I have settled on one that I will shortly release to the Committee and a few frequent users of the current Forums to exercise and check for problems - of which there have been a few. (I'll be contacting these people shortly).

The Forum is written in ASP which gives me the oportunity to include amendments (not so with many of the others).

One you will see is the inclusion of a mod to stop robots automatically signing on, depositing messages and emailing members.

People will have to register to post messages (not just to view). I will not be able to do much about human spammers except deregister anyone posting spam. I also request people register with their proper name insead of a pseudonym (which tends to be the case on general purpose Forums). This also helps to bind members of the Association together.

More later.
