Good Morning,
I am wondering if anybody could put me in touch with someone who owns a Parker 27 (Superseal) near my number which is 138--built in 1989.
It seems that the lifting keel on my boat has a stop (strop) cable so it doesn't go too far down. During Hurricane mine broke but the lifting line held. I think I'd better rebuild that safety cable before I lose the keel althogether.
I could measure the keel but then--how far does it go down and yet be able to be remain in the track? It appears that the keel extending below the boat can be what ever--I won many races with the "old" factory set length--so what is it?
If you know of someone--please email me.
