My recently purchased Parker 21 (no 42) has no traveller on the bridge deck. I intend to fit one over the winter. I know many boats have a traveller fitted. My question is:-
Which is the best place to attach the main sheet to the boom? The end of the boom makes too steep an angle. I was thinking to use the eye that the 2nd reefing point is roped to. Any comments?

Mine is attached to the middle of 3 loops under the boom, 21 inches from the end. Seems about right and means that I can sail with the spray hood up if necessary. Pity we can't leave pics with notes on this.
