Hi all I have just got a SS 26, No 100 (Heydays) and moved it to its new home in Keyhaven (Solent).

It is in fair nick for its age and appears to be as built. My question is really - is there any 'must make' modifications?

Any thoughts would be welcome - I already have to replace all the standing and running rigging so any now rigging ideas would be welcomed. I also have to replace all the gas fitting (condemned on survey).

Has any one fitted any heating into the 26?

That it really just hoping for a point in the right direction.

congrats on buying the greatest boat in the world

I own Cleo *21 moored on the Hamble

There is an owners handbook available from reglia

my advice is to sail her for a season and come to the rallies and see other superseals as the are all slightly different as people have done things to modify / simplefy or just change as they work better

look forwrd to seeing you afloat

ps cleo is ashore at southampton sailing club in woolston as is Seal Free *95 ,so if u want to come and have a look around for comparisons

call or e mail me

Richard

I don't know if you have joined the SSA but as a member you could purchase a handbook that would provide some useful ideas for you.

A membership form can be obtained from
