I am considering buying either of the two Seal Yachts mentioned. Can anybody please help me and confirm that the draft of each is with the keel lifted, thanks.

My Seal 28 has a draft of 2'9" with the keel up, It is quoted in the specs as being 2'6", I am not sure where the extra 3 inches came from.

Thanks for the response. If you have any photos of your yacht I would be interested to see them. I am keen on the Seal as for 2 - 3 years I plan to use the yacht on a lake then move to the sea so the 2'9" draft is just okay. If you have any good links to specs on the Seal 28, that would be very usefule also.

Do you know if there is a 'standard' trailer available for the Seal 28. Thanks in anticipation.

Hi

I dont know about trailers, Aztec weighs about 3 tons, quite a lot to drag around behind a car.

I have posted some photos of Aztec onto my website, please use the link below. Most of the photos were taken when I was viewing Aztec prior to buying her in Aug 2000.
