Description:

WALLINGTON ‘SHORE’ RALLY 25 July 2026

Wallington is a residential area east of Fareham centre and this event is NOT to be confused with a rally at Fareham Sailing and Motor Boat Club (FSMBC).

Location: Phil and Carol Walden’s house, Wallington, Fareham. The full address is given in the handbook under ‘OC’.

Programme: Do not arrive before 4.00pm as parking restrictions apply.

BBQ will be lit at 5.00pm with a target time of 6.00pm to start cooking.

Bring your own food and drink, cutlery, crockery, etc.

A cheese board with brandy will be provided after everyone has eaten.

Carriages at approximately 10 – 11.00pm.

Accommodation: Unfortunately, we cannot offer facilities to anyone in our house other than the toilet. However, there is room for 3, possibly 4 at a squeeze, motorhomes on our drive. Book early to avoid disappointment. There is a possibility to moor at Fareham SMBC but this will need permission from the club and you will need to contact the them directly. Such mooring facilities are mainly intended for the Isle of Wight contingent and those on a long distance cruise. The sailing club is a 15/20 minute walk from our house.

Weather: If the weather is bad, the event will still happen!!

More news...

The PSSA is the class association for Parker and Seal lift keel yachts and other types of shallow draft yachts.
As an active, friendly club with almost 350 members, it organises rallies, social events and an annual race around the Isle of Wight.
Seals and Parkers are British-built yachts, ranging in length from 21' to 33', mostly with lifting keels. They started with the Seal 22 in 1970, built by John Baker, and followed by the Seal 28 and Super Seal 26. In 1981, Bill Parker took over the range and added the Parker 21, Parker 27 and Parker 31. These then evolved into a high-quality range of cruiser-racers built by Parker Lift-Keel Yachts - the trailable Parker 235, the Parker 285 and the Parker 335. In 2009, Parker Lift-Keel yachts ceased trading.
