Navigation notes.
Saturday First high water is 15.52 4.4m 2nd 17.47 high 4.6m
I would recommend coming in on a rising tide say 3.30pm. Once the tide is in
it stands for about 2.5 hours.
The creek can be found just south of the Oil tanker jetty opposite the
Hamble entrance, then head west towards the port and starboard entrance
buoys. At this point there is a bar which is the shallowest part of your
trip up the creek. Stay in the middle of the channel marked with posts then
stay in the middle of the moorings when you turn right, then moor on the
left side of the pontoon. Do not cut the corner as it is shallow, we will be
waiting for you. (If you touch bottom don't worry it is soft mud)
