I would like to organise an impromptu rally over the bank holiday weekend to co-inside with the Littlehampton midweek rally on Tuesday 26th
My plans are 2 fold
PLAN A
Sat afternoon pick up a bouy in Chichester harbour -- perhaps bbq on East head beach
Sun low water 1000hrs so we need to be afloatas head East to Shoreham --possibly Sussex sailing Club
Stephen Roy and myself are driving down to do reckie on wed
Mon Restful day or Brighton
Tues To join Midweek rally in Littlehampton

Plan B
If The weather is not favourable to head East , we will potter around the Solent

Please can you let me know if you like this idea and would be interested in joining in

Cheers

Update 1

following a successful visit to the Sussex Yacht Club (SYC) in Shoreham

They are very keen for us to visit and I have tentatively booked us in for 2 nights Sunday 24th and Monday 25th
I have spoken to the club chef who is keen to feed us on Sunday evening and the club has offered us a very special rate for the 2 nights on NO charge on their visitors pontoon as long as we spend at the bar etc......
I have arranged with them that I will arrange all by WED 20th so they can sort thing out for our visit

Please let me know if you would like to join in as this will tie in well with the midweek rally to Littlehampton on Tues 26th

Sat.. Chichester bbq on beach -stay afloat at low water !
Sun.. 0800am departure head East through Looe channel to Shoreham
Mon.. Lazy day
Tues..Littlehampton

cheers

Peter
