I'm looking at investing in headsail reefing after years of a fore cabin packed with sails. Any advice on systems that work well and ones to steer clear of would be much appreciated. Also which sail maker to use.

Thank you Paul Morris

Hi Paul

on Cleo my ss 26 --i fitted an Plastimo 810 (this refers to the size of boat in meters

I believe now it is the 811..

I believe it is still on Cleo

I too have been thinking of replacing my facnor furler on Sophia as it is now old , idecided to give it another year as it still does the job

the one i looked at is the 609 about £500 in force 4..

Hope this helps

Just had spray hood made at GP sails in Warsash, very helpful and not too expencive !--- worth waiting til boat show in Sept-- they always do deal there !!

Kemps are on a lot of seals and they know our craft well

Perhaps some one would have and older jib in the attic for the interium

Peter
