Our early bird rally takes place at Bembridge over the weekend of 14/15th April - we have enjoyed meals at the Vine pub at St Helens on previous visits and are planning to do the same this time .

We do have a favour to ask please - some of you know that Paul had surgery in February and Doctors orders were no lifting/exercise for 6 weeks post op and this has meant our plans for winter refit of Altair have been delayed and we won't be afloat in time for this rally - we are happy to make all the arrangements with Bembridge and the Vine but need a volunteer please who is going to be there to act as co-ordinator at Bembridge on the weekend - sorry but Paul would much rather be there himself - if you are happy to be the focal point please volunteer and let me know - thanks

Please can you let us know as soon as possible if you plan to attend and name and type of boat and number of crew as if we have no volunteer we will have to cancel the rally.

Thanks for your efforts, Sorry did not feel able to volunteer as Bembridge a bit far for us for a first sail in uncertain weather with a new dog (prone to be seasick), however weather permitting planning to be either in Yarmouth Friday followed by Newport Saturday or Newport on Friday depending on when we launch and/or the wind direction.
