Help ! In the recent winds the top half of my (old) genoa escaped and has some untidy damage.
I now realise it was only hand-tight when I re-launched - lesson learnt !
I have to assess whether to repair or replace, but I would also like to know if anyone has and old 235 genoa they would be prepared to sell please.

Hello John,
I have a Parker and Kay genoa which was intended for my 235 - it is dacron and has vertical battens. I hoped to race with it but changed to a Parker 27 as one became available and sold the 235 - that was back in 2010.
The sail had little use and has been stored in the garage since then.
I will check its condition - If it is good I guess £250 would be a fair price.
It is located in Chelmsford, Essex.

Chris
I'm so sorry for the delay in responding.
I'm local to Dick Batt who has judged it is only the UV strip that needs replacing, whereas my view of the damage was that it was likely to need replacing.
I'll go ahead with the repair but definitely note the possibility of buying your foresail....when I have a need and it might still be available.
Very many thanks for responding.
Best wishes
