I’m upgrading the sheet winches on my P285 and fitting Lewmar ST30’s. The ring of bolts securing the winch to the plinth has a larger diameter than the bolts on the old Barton winches. Has anyone fitted these winches and felt it necessary to place any additional support for them under the plinth?
