I am considering adding one or two solar panells to ensure that the batteries on Mañana do not run flat when not in use. I am unfamiliar with the electrical layout and note that there are two batteries which can be used to supply electricity. The system seems to switch to take and presumably supply power from either battery 1 batery 2 or both bateries.

I susspect there are several options.
leaving the system on both and connecting a single 10 W pannel to charge both batteries;
Connecting a 5W pannel directly to each battery to tricle chage it;
spending much more and get a multi bank charging system.

Any advice welcolm.

PS refurbisment is well underway.
I have fitted an electrical bildge pump and hot and cold presurised running water will follow soon. I have also reverted the internal layout to the original design with a gimbled spirit cooker and placing a stainless steel bowl in place of the original plastic.

After much consideration of how to reposition cookers and sink I came to the conclusion that the original design was the best.
