We suffed a ripped genoa on Saturday tearing along most of the seam by the leach. On removing the sail I consulted the handbook to check whether it was a standard dimension and found it different.
The sail is of the following dimensions

Luff 23ft 8 inches
Leach 24ft 3 inches
Foot 15ft.

However the standard dimensions for the boat should be

Luff 22.5

Leach 19.8

Foot 11.3

This suggests that its nearer the racing geno size. Manana is fitted with a roller furling drum which seems to have leach length of 24ft.

Does anyone know whether this is standard fitting as If I need to replace the sail it would be helpful to advise the sail maker.
