Here are two photos of my coachroof, with a bank of clutches and cleats on the port side and similar (with a RED one!) on the starboard side. Can someone tell me what they feed through each, and how this relates to the line feeders / blocks at the mast foot? I appreciate different people may have different arrangements, but it would be really useful to try and work out the best arrangement!

My 21 came rigged with 4 jammers each side and a cleat. From port to stbd thay work: 2nd reef, Jib halyard, Spinnaker halyard, Kicker. And on stbd side - l-r Main Halyard, Pole downhaul, Keel lift and first reef. The cleat is for pole uphaul which doesn't need to be moved.

Is this standard or is it just what the original owner thought was logical. It seems to work OK so I haven't changed anything.

My keel clutch (red one) is starboard outboard..!!

Can't remember them all but..

Second reef middle port...

Kicker is inboard port clutch...

topping lift is clam cleat starboard..

main halyard is middle starboard

first reef inboard starboard

jib sheets are the 2 open cleats both sides..

Hope this helps..

On "Gentoo" my 235 my clutches are arranged as

Port from outboard in

1st reef, 2nd reef (and spinny tack line), kicker and outhaul

Starboard from outboard in

keel (red handle), spinnaker halyard, Main halyard, topping lift.

The two large silver jammers are for jib sheets if you don't need to use the winches

Best of luck!
