Quick question!

Having used the spinnaker pole to raise the mast and having not yet bought a spinnaker do I need to keep this pole on board?

Can it be used as a Jib Stick when goose winged or should I get it out of the way and put in in the garage for summer?

I use my Spinnaker pole (P21) as a jib pole though it really isn't long enough (2.5m) by a yard or so. My genoa is probably longer in the foot than on a 235 so yours might be closer to the right length. I've often beaten spinnakered yachts with a poled Genny when the others are broaching all over the bay.

I keep mine on board. It does work well to pole out the jib.
