Rally update - boats attending Sophia, Frith, Foca, Rascal, Shiraz plus Lesa and Elsa - 10 people so far for the Fishbourne Inn.

Please let me know approx time of arrival and if you are coming on Friday (Shiraz may come then). This will help with getting the best spots in the mud without rafting!

Anyone else welcome to join - plenty of space on the pontoon and extras at the Inn will be no problem.

Please post here or email/text me.

Thanks
Hilary

Delphine is joining us.

I have promised final numbers to the FishInn on Wednesday morning so anyone else please let me know asap.

Hopefully we shall catch some late afternoon/evening sunshine on the Club lawn as the 83 Leylandii to the SW are taking on a new role as planks/firewood.........

Despite the hopefully fake news of the present XCweather LR forecast, some of the RVYC seals may be up for a trip starting on Sunday - perhaps Ashlett and on to Lymington - anyone else is very welcome to join us.

Hi Hilary,
The weather forecast for Sunday suggests it may be somewhat breezy. Crew Vol-au-vent will happily attend by ferry if that turns out to be the case. Saturday winds look fine so the ferries will run. Return ferries run at 2300, 0100 and 0400.
See you Saturday - Ken

Hi Frith, Rascal, Sophia, Delphine, Foca (and Shiraz) cc Elsa and Vol-au-vent

As you see Crew Vol-au-vent are happy to come over in the big boat - it might even be the new Victoria of Wight!

Please let me know if you are likely to go for this Plan B if the forecast does not co-operate for Sunday. The Met Office has now upped the wind speed but not as much as XC - however I am sure F8 gusts are a little much even downwind! Plan C could be to come over anyway and stay until Monday if necessary

Luckily it is easier dealing with the booking at the Fishbourne Inn rather than a special meal organised at RVYC. I hope we can manage at least a reduced gathering at the pub.

Please let me know as soon as possible if you are up for Plan B (ferry) or Plan C (option of staying until Monday) if the forecast does not look good for Plan A (over Sat/back Sun).

I have just talked to Royce and Brenda - Shiraz will go for Plan A if the forecast changes but not B or C.

Cheers
Hilary

Hi Hilary, WX fcst is improving for Sunday and no longer showing northerly winds during strongest part of the fcst, I have also managed to clear my calender for Monday so as long as it keeps improving and doesn't take a turn for the worse, will be sailing over to stay two nights (Saturday/Sunday), rgds Martin
