Hi

I have an oil leak from the ram and wonder if anyone knows a ram specialist in the Poole area who might be able to check seals

It still works and not sure how much oil I have lost, boat on hard with keel 50% down and so hard to check oil level

Any suggestions welcome

Regards

Barry

I do not know the Poole area but this is a job most hydraulic engineers can deal with.

We had our ram serviced with renewal of the seals and the flexible hose attached to the ram. It took three days and cost just over £200 in 2023

I used Pirtek in Portsmouth last winter for Shemar's ram. They did an excellent job. They also serviced Blue Moon's ram last winter too.

Changed the seals and the bottom hose and connection for about £200.

Hi

Thank all for your reply's. I have now sourced the oil leak with was a joint which became loose, now sealed and fine

However another issue has come up

When I press the up button I get a click from the ram motor and if I repeat pressing the button, the motor works, but not all the time (whiring noise when working)

The had pump works fine so it appears to be an issue with the motor, any ideas
