After reading a few different modifications to tables I came up with this.....

I screwed the mount to one end so we can vary positions.

My father in law is a joiner....he made it out of teak...The base was about a tenner from Lymmington.

Hi Paul,
Nice table, looks like a few coats of teak oil will be the next job. We have just changed our table to the one out of the Compass24 book. It has a folding leaf at each side. It is about the same size as yours when folded. Handy to put your tea on and you can walk past it with ease. I put four coats of teak oil on ours, one per day. Then left it four a week and then spent about an hour with a polishing machine to bring up a slight sheen.

Paul - is father-in-law taking orders?

If so, I'd be interested in one!

Paul - if you get a moment could you tell me the size of this table?

I've found some teak so will copy it!

Are you happy with the size, would you alter it in any way?

Thanks!

I am happy with it....will measure it next week.

But... I have just taken a deposit on my boat....

I have sold it to fund buying a new house...

Anyone got a Parker 21 for sale ???

Paul,

Sorry to hear that you've sold Lady P, but needs must........

I've enjoyed your input to the forum. If you're still looking to stay afloat the Jeanneau Bahia on the for sale page here look interesting. Failing that a Seal 22?

All the best
