A unique opportunity to own the Superseal 26 that sailed single handed across the Atlantic with her first owner. She is in good condition for her age and ready for new adventures
Under our ownership since 2015 we have enjoyed many local trips around the south coast as well as extended voyages to Essex and Sufflok. Our voyages have been single handed, two up and with family and friends, all possible with easy handling and the five berths. With a fully lifting keel and decent draft she is equally at home drying out in a sheltered cove or on an offshore passage. Whilst we have not raced her the Superseal is well liked for club racing.
The light outboard engine which has good power (we motored the full distance from Cowes to the Thames estuary on one occasion) is mounted in an inboard well and easy to service. It lifts clear of the water to reduce turbulence and allows generous extra stowage space below. The outboard has manual and electric start and charges the battery which also has charging from a solar panel
She is a speedy seaworthy vessel that is a joy to sail. However our new grandchild will be our focus for the next couple of years until she is old enough to go to sea.
