I raise and lower my seal 26 mast every year by myself.I made two small A frames that hook into the Toe rail, to give the same pivot point as the mast step.I use the spinnaker pole in a socket at the foot of the mast, at 90 degrees as a leverage point. Ropes from the A frames to the mast and the top of the spinnaker pole. The head sail halyards go to the top of the pole aswell and then another rope is attached from the top of the pole to a pulley fixed to the stem head, back to the winch, and winch away. Nice and slowly checking no standing rigging snags on any fittings.
Hope that helps, Cheers Paul.
