My father-in-Law passed away at Christmas and I have been given the task of selling his seal 22 (Manatee 207) The boat has been sitting on the drive for 10 years plus and has had no work done on it in that time. It is on a trailer which I believe to be roadworthy. It was sailing and seems to have all the kit, Sails 2x motors tender, radio etc etc. but none of this is tested as working. I have done some cleaning up but it clearly need work to get it seaworthy. The cockpit area woodwork has all rotted and would need to be rebuilt for example.

Does anyone have any advice on a ball park price I should be starting at. Where would be the best place to advertise? Any advice appreciated. As I don't live near the location of the boat it would be very difficult for me to spend time doing repairs. Thanks Stuart

Hi Stuart
Here on the PSSA website is probably the best place to sell a 22.
Can you post where the boat is, a member close to you with knowledge of 22's may be able to have a look and help with a guide price. From the site here you may have noticed others for sale, £2,000 to £3,000 is normal but engines, trailers and gear will affect price as much as the boats condition.

The boat is near Trowbridge WILTS. I am here till Friday so if any members close could take a look that would be great. Like I said any advice appreciated.

Thanks
