I have never been happy with the angle or position of the clamcleat that holds the jib sheet en route to the winch.
I am considering placing two servo cleats on the coach roof like this: (These are loosely placed, the angle to the fairlead would be straighter).

In medium to light winds when the winches aren't required these should be easier to use, particularly when sailing downwind.
There is access beneath to put a load bearing pad in the hatch underneath the winches, so they should be strong enough.
Has anyone else done this? Am I missing something?
