electric windlass

i wonder if anyone can offer any advice concerning the fitting of an electric windlass to a 285. My back is a bit tender and i need all the help i can get.

Recommendations and advice from experience would be welcome.

i am looking at QUICK Aries or Antares at the moment with a view to having a separate battery in the forpeak locker.

I use a Fortress anchor. Very light and easy to get up by hand.

Charles,

To answer your question "doesn't anyone have an electric windlass?", I think the answer is no. I have never seen one on a 27/28 during many rallies and travels. Don't take the lack of replies personally - it's just that nobody has one [:)].
