To save me a visit to the boat does anyone know off hand how many turns of the handle does it take to fully lower the keel from fully up ??

It takes about 150 turns on Aztec, I normally try to count them as I turn the handle, sometimes It may be only 130 but this would indicate that the bottom of the keel slot has become clogged with mud. This normally clears after an hour or so of sailing and the keel can be lowered more.
