I have seen the handicaps on the website .....BUT

What are other people sailing off...

1030 +40 for no spinnaker +10 for roller reefing

1080.....!!!!

I heard somewhere that 1110 was being used ????

Just that I had a race on sunday (in thick fog) and was 8 & half mins ahead of a Hunter Duette in a 3 hour race. The results have not been announced yet.... The Duette is sailing off 1183

Me and my 21 sail off 1046 by the CSC's reckoning. But like with golf, a couple of good results and I get clobbered - I have been down to 1036. How can they allow you for roller reefing? Do they watch you with binoculars to be sure you don't unwind it downwind?

I came second....

But.....I had the wife and kids on board....It was thick fog.....We had the second reef in and a half rolled genoa....(others had no reefs)....

Happy with the result...

They used the 1080....would have still been second with 1110 (just)

Has anyone revised the handicap for the 235 yet - Paul Burton suggested 1030 and 1080 with roller jib (+10)and no spinnaker ??
