Who else is going to Bembridge this weekend? Any other 21's? Will we manage a barbeque, or just get wet?

I'm planning on heading to Wainfleet Haven, which is at Gibralter point Skegness.
The sailing club there hold a BBQ every year. It is a very interesting place to get into and to moor up .....

So that's where Gibraltar Point is- have heard it on inshore waters but never knew where it was!
Of course, you do sail up the creek, don't you? Good short-tacking practice...

Well we're off on our FIRST CRUISE! Not yet slept or cooked aboard so lots of 'firsts' !
Going up Sound of Mull to Loch na Droma Buidhe (Drumbuie to the locals!!)and then up Loch Sunart - the pilot guide says "The passages either side of Carna are amongst the trickiest bits of rock-dodging anywhere on the west coast....". Should be fun!!!!!!!!
If I haven't posted again by Wednesday assume it all went wrong![:I]

We had a good time.....first boat in....in the past we had to wait for enough water....this year we just lifted the keel.
We also dried out in the mud level....bonus.....

Well, we're back too - no mud for us, and the anchor held I'm pleased to say. This was 11 at night!
