Thanks for the your comments Paul, I think every one enjoyed the weekend.
We had eight boats in total, the most 235's ever gathered together, and several more crews without boats. Some of Parkers Factory staff joined the Saturday evening Buffet as well as a few perspective owners. It was a very relaxed evening, good food and lots of ideas exchanged. I think Bill was quite moved to see so many of his boats gathered together and so many people enjoying them.
The weather was kind on us and we had two informal cruises around the lake, which developed into some keen sail tweaking as the day progressed. One formal race took place on Sunday afternoon followed by the presentation of the "Parker 235 Trophy" by Bill, to Nick Bett, who was the overall winner in the series.
The feed back from everyone has been positive with lots of people asking if we can make it an annual event. So keep an eye on the forum for future plans. I hope you will be able to read a more in the next issue of the news letter.
Thanks to all who helped,
Graham Ebb
