Took Lady P out of the water today as our sailing season at Boston ends at the end of the month.

Giving her a clean and a few small jobs to do then off to Rutland for the winter. Looking forward to getting out there in the winter winds. I often go solo and really enjoy a few hours blast over the lake. Anyone else going to still be sailing at Rutland this winter ???

We will be there again this winter so may see you sometime.

This is however dependent on getting a new mast!

I broke ours parking the boat when I went too near to some trees. To make it worse I was still on the road and the branches were very small - maybe only an inch.

A pity because we had got it tuned and the boat was sailing well.

Be warned!!

Hi Paul,

We will be there most Sundays up to mid December, when we have to vacate our mooring for the three months of Jan, Feb, March. Its a water authority rule. We will then bring the boat home for winter tinkering and general maintenance.

We had a good sail on Sunday, the wind kept us guessing as it was quite light but good fun. We sailed in company with 235 Morvoran, a Parker 21 and an Etap 22. Great fun. Hope to see you out there.
