We have a number of Seal 28s without Sail numbers. It occurs to me that this could be linked to quite a number of requests I have had over the years for the whereabouts of the hull number which JB used to hide away on his boats. In the 22 it's always on the inside of the transom in the form of numbers picked out in drill-holes. Has anyone found one on a 28 and if so where was it?! This was prompted in this instance by a request from new member Kevin Norman, new owner of 28/? Pinneped.

I sorted out my password issue in a more sober moment.
I have never found the hull number on Aztec/26 it was reported to be in the small locker in the saloon by the main bulkhead.

Has this forum changed? I am sure that before when I logged in to the forum it showed that I was logged in, and I no longer had to enter my details when replying.
Am I imagining things.

No, I have not found a hull number on Andiamo, either. I only know her number because it's on the two mainsails I got with her - one being the original.

Hi everyone
the hull number is perforated into the GRP or gelcoat of the main bulkhead on the starbord side below the settee, appr. an area of 15 x 15 cm. You have to look carefully to recognize the small holes as a number.
