Thank you for your welcome John,

I bought "Alchemist" in july, she's now in Le hourdel (somme estuary)near Le crotoy where few members of pssa have had a rally in 2007.

Cordialement

Hi Cristophe

Nesta and I were in St Valery Sur Somme last year, we really enjoyed it. We took the steam train around the bay to Crotoy. Very shallow and strong currents. Perfect Parker territory I think. [:)]

Hi Cristophe

I have a 2GM and it gives good power. We had no trouble getting out of the Somme through the 50+ buoys on a rising tide at full engine throttle. I too need a shallow water rudder.

Cristophe

I have AIS on Crystal and find it fine for Channel crossing. It gives me good information about any ships that might cause me a problem. Just a thought instead of radar.

John

Thank you for this idea, the radar is now buy! in fact the main problem is the fog, i think you know that...And the number of"indisciplined" little fishing boat in the area of the bay of somme.

Merry christmas and happy new year with great cruises to all PSSA members
