I have triangular fittings under my boom that the kicker and main sheet feed onto (I dont Know there proper names!) - where can I get new ones - I cant find a name on the mast anywhere - the boat is no 100. Mine are very warn, and I would like to add a couple to rig a preventer. Any one have any suggestions?

Thanks

Richard, I have SS no 103 and have boom fittings just as you have described. My boom is an old Kemp one .. so I suspect yours is too as both our boats are early Parker built ('82?).

Some years ago Kemps were taken over by Selden who may be able to help.

If you get any joy from Selden perhaps you could let me know as it won't be long before I will need some too!

Thanks, Chris.

I got some of the fitting from Southern Spar Services in Southampton

(02380) 331714 and talk to Bob.

They were 5 pound plus vat each. Make sure you get the type to fit the

older boom Selden recommended a stainless fitting that are for the next

generation - according to Bob these would not fit. He still has a few in

stock.

I will try and fit them tonight. If I have any problems I will let you all know.
