Hi,

The pound has gotten cheaper lately and from the latest economic news it seems it will keep falling compared to the Swedish krona. So it might be worthwhile looking at UK online sellers of marine hardware. I am thinking of new rope clutches etc. Do you have any suggestions?

Regards,

Ola

Hello Ola,

I've found Marine Superstore (www.marinesuperstore.co.uk ) to deliver quickly and usually to have among the lowest prices. I don't know how much overseas delivery would cost, though. I bought my rope clutches there.

Hi,

I don't really have any choice but to shop online as Grimsby, once the largest fishing port in the world does NOT have one dedicated chandlers.

Can you believe that?

There is a place that sells some bits and pieces mainly ropes, anchors, and small stainless stuff but he operates mainly online.

What gets me is the exorbitant postage some of them add to the price of stuff.
