Has anyone used an outboard flushing bag? This year after using the outboard aboard Juicy Blue our P235. I have considered the use of a flushing bag. My thoughts were along the lines of a builders rubble bag slipped over the leg and filled with approx 5 litres of fresh water to flush the engine and leave in place until our return. I googled what I thought might seem like a daft idea and found this:

Yes I know, I saw it, and in the usual YBW way, the contributors to the thread came back with every method they, their mates, and their grannies cousin twice removed all use, and ne'r comment about your original post!

It just served to remind me as to why I hardly ever visit those forums..........

I am going to have a chat to my local sailmaker and see if he might be interested in knocking me up a bag like that?
